Tanner Health System seeks an Outpatient Primary Therapist to deliver evidence‑based behavioral health and substance use treatment through individual, family, and group therapy. Therapy may occur in a clinic or via telehealth, with competitive salary and benefits including health/dental insurance and a 401K match.

Requires Master’s degree, Georgia licensure (LPC/LCSW/LMFT), and at least three years of related experience; emphasis on confidentiality, crisis management, and patient‑centered care.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with the continuum of care.

The Outpatient Primary Therapist provides treatment for individuals with behavioral health and or substance use disorders. Treatment is provided through individual, family, and group therapy in a clinic setting or through telehealth. • Duty of care must be exercised with those persons who are currently in recovery or experience a relapse while employed. therefore a minimum of two years away from clinical duties must be observed after the acknowledgment of a problem and or relapse along with treatment completion. This enables the protection of the individuals served and the recovering person as well.
• Employee will obtain initial CPR and SCIPP certification within 90 days of employment. Employee will maintain CPR and SCIPP certification as required.
