Description

Penn Medicine is dedicated to our tripartite mission of providing the highest level of care to patients, conducting innovative research, and educating future leaders in the field of medicine.

Schedule: Per Diem – scheduled as needed Monday to Friday between 8 am-5 pm.

Summary
  • Provide high quality comprehensive clinical services that include clinical triage, psychosocial evaluations, individual, group and family therapy, treatment plan development and coordination, discharge planning, utilization management with insurance companies, and case management with social service support systems, schools and other external entities, under supervision of the appropriate clinical discipline.
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate competency in knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to meet the psychological and social needs of the program’s patient population. Provide age-appropriate care based on principles of growth across the lifespan, assess and interpret data relative to patient’s age, and conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
  • Document each treatment session in accordance with Princeton House documentation standards, complete assessment evaluation and integrated diagnostic summary, and coordinate multidisciplinary treatment plans.
  • Attend daily treatment rounds, provide input and receive input from other team members, and communicate changes in patients’ clinical status to appropriate team members.
  • Perform case management as assigned, coordinate discharge planning, and communicate plans clearly to patients, families, and all other providers involved.
  • Monitor attendance and utilization, complete pre-certifications and utilization review forms accurately and timely, and participate in hospital and performance improvement initiatives, including patient satisfaction surveys.

Salary Range

$30.96 - $49.36 per hour, determined by experience and education.
