Atlanta Recovery Place (ARP) is seeking a Primary Therapist to deliver high-quality therapeutic services in a substance use and mental health setting. This on-site role requires licensure in Georgia and experience with high-acuity clients, including individual, group, and family therapy.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia licensure or associate-level license (APC, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW).
• Minimum 1 year of experience with high-acuity mental health clients.
• 3–5 years of experience in substance use and/or mental health treatment preferred.
• Experience leading group therapy and providing individual and family therapy.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-based environment.
• High initiative, professionalism, and clinical judgment.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training provided if needed).

Responsabilités

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy services.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and determine clinical appropriateness for treatment.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment and service plans.
• Monitor client behavior and progress throughout treatment.
• Deliver crisis intervention services and follow established protocols.
• Conduct intake interviews and make referral recommendations as needed.
• Document services accurately and in compliance with clinical standards.
• Communicate significant incidents to the Clinical Director.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Uphold and embody the mission, vision, and values of Southern Live Oak Wellness, LLC.

Position Overview

ARP is seeking a Primary Therapist to deliver high-quality therapeutic services to clients in a substance use and mental health treatment setting. This role is ideal for clinicians who are clinically strong, proactive, and passionate about recovery-focused care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy services

Minimum Qualifications
