Job summary

Recovery Unplugged Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate Primary Therapist to join our clinical team. You will provide individual, group, and family therapy and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support clients throughout recovery.

You will develop treatment plans, monitor progress, document in the EMR, and participate in supervision ensuring ethical standards and regulatory compliance are met.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Active state licensure or certification required, where applicable.
• Experience in individual, group, and family therapy in behavioral health or substance use settings.
• Knowledge of DSM-5, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy services per best practices and regulatory standards.
• Complete psychosocial assessments and participate in treatment planning.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
• Facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers and team to ensure continuity of care.
• Coordinate discharge planning and aftercare to support long-term recovery.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the EMR.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and supervision as required.
• Adhere to ethical standards, confidentiality, and regulations.
