ROWI Teen & Parent Wellness Centers is seeking a Primary Therapist to guide clients and families through their treatment journey. This on-site role reports to the Program Director and involves individual and family counseling, ongoing assessments, and meticulous documentation.

Key requirements include a Master’s degree in a relevant field and licensure or eligibility, with at least 1 year of mental health experience. Competitive benefits and a supportive culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in MFT, Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Licensed or eligible as MFT, Clinical Psychologist, or Social Worker; unlicensed clinicians will receive supervision.
• 1 year of experience in the mental health field.

Responsabilités

• Monitor client safety and develop effective safety plans.
• Maintain compliance with clinical documentation per ROWI and Joint Commission standards.
• Communicate safety and progress information to the interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver therapy sessions that align with the designated level of care for each client.
• Engage with referrals and outpatient professionals post-admission and provide updates.
• Collaborate on discharge planning and facilitate group therapy sessions (alumni & multi-family).
• Contribute to team meetings and maintain a positive, caring, professional demeanor.
• Serve as a role model for clients and staff, fostering a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Must be licensed or eligible as an MFT, Clinical Psychologist, or Social Worker. Unlicensed clinicians will receive supervision.
• Experience: 1 year in the mental health field
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with basic computer operations and maintaining strict confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and eligibility for insurance on agency vehicles.
• Current First-Aid & CPR Certifications and a satisfactory criminal background check.
