Job summary

Evolve Treatment Centers in Sacramento, CA, seeks a Mental Health Therapist for a 6-bed residential program. You will provide weekly individual and family therapy, lead groups, and develop comprehensive treatment plans for teens aged 12–17 using DBT, CBT, and MI in a supportive, collaborative setting.

We offer competitive salaries ($85K–$90K unlicensed; $92K–$97K licensed), comprehensive benefits, PTO and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• California licensure or eligibility (AMFT/ACSW/APCC or LMFT/LCSW/LPCC).
• Willingness to support COVID-positive clients if needed.
• Pass LiveScan and background check clearance.
• Experience with adolescent mental health and family therapy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary therapist for assigned clients and families.
• Conduct weekly individual and family therapy sessions.
• Facilitate 1–2 therapy groups per week and complete clinical documentation.
• Biopsychosocial & Risk Assessments; develop and monitor Treatment Plans.
• Provide after-hours clinical support on a phone-based on-call rotation.
• Communicate with Utilization Review for insurance updates.
• Guide clients and families through discharge planning and aftercare coordination.
• Participate in weekly Treatment Team and psychiatry meetings.
• Complete timely documentation in compliance with licensing standards.
• Assess and respond to clinical risk and mandated reporting.
• Interpret Outcomes Program data to inform treatment planning.

We are currently seeking aMental Health Therapistfor our6-bed residential treatment center in Sacramento, CA.

Evolve delivers cutting-edgeresidential, intensive outpatient (IOP), and partial hospitalization (PHP)programs designed to meet the unique needs of teens and their families. Our clinical model is rooted in:

• Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

• Motivational Interviewing (MI)

• Integrated withexperiential therapieslike Art, music, surf and equine

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as the primary therapist for assigned clients and families

• Conductweekly individual and family therapysessions

• Facilitate1–2 therapy groups/weekand complete clinical documentation

• CompleteBiopsychosocial & Risk Assessments, develop and monitor Treatment Plans

• Provide after-hours clinical support as part of a phone-based on-call rotation

• Communicate with Utilization Review team for insurance coverage and updates

• Guide clients and families throughdischarge planning and aftercare coordination

• Participate in weeklyTreatment Team and psychiatry meetings

What We’re Looking For:

• Associate licensure (AMFT, ACSW, APCC) or fully licensed (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC)in California

• ValidCalifornia Driver’s License

• Ability to pass LiveScan, criminal background check, and child abuse index clearance

• Willingness to support and interact withCOVID-positive clients, if needed

• Passion for adolescent mental health and a team-oriented, flexible attitude
