Job summary

Inward Healthcare in Long Beach, CA seeks a licensed or eligible Primary Therapist for a hybrid, part-time role. You will provide individual and family therapy for adolescents, facilitate groups, and handle clinical assessments, while supporting treatment planning and case coordination.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work is required or in progress.
• Licensed or intern number required or in progress.
• Experience in crisis management and family therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family therapy to 3–4 clients.
• Facilitate group sessions with 6–7 weekly participants.
• Complete clinical assessments and contribute to treatment planning.
• Manage case coordination for adolescent clients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Inward Healthcare is a mental wellness center based in Long Beach, California, offering in-person treatment services for adolescents as well as a virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adults. Role Description

This is an hybrid, part-time opportunity for a Primary Therapist at Inward Healthcare in Long Beach, California. The Primary Therapist will provide individual and family therapy (3-4 clients), facilitate group sessions (6-7 weekly), complete clinical assessments, contribute to treatment planning + manage case coordination responsibilities for adolescent clients.

In addition, the role includes providing virtual individual therapy sessions and group facilitation for adult clients enrolled in the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The Primary Therapist will collaborate closely with clients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that support mental health, emotional regulation, and overall well-being across levels of care.
