The School

Randstad Education is partnering with a vibrant, community focused and multicultural Government Primary School located in Melbourne's northern suburbs. We are seeking an energetic and passionate Grade 6 Teacher for a position commencing immediately through to the end of the 2026 school year. There is a strong possibility of this transitioning into an ongoing role for the right candidate.

The Role

This is a full-time position teaching a dynamic Grade 6 class, preparing them socially and academically for their transition to secondary education.

• Curriculum & Planning: Participate actively in collaborative team planning, working closely with your year-level peers to develop engaging, aligned lesson plans.
• Classroom Management: Implement robust, positive behaviour management strategies to cultivate a structured, focused, and safe learning environment.
• Relationship Building: Forge deep, positive connections with students from diverse cultural backgrounds, using your energy to motivate and inspire them.

Successful Candidate Profile

• Qualifications: Full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
• Experience: Prior primary teaching experience is highly preferred. The school is ideally looking for an experienced educator with a proven track record of managing classrooms effectively.
