Job summary

Recreate Behavioral Health Network is seeking a qualified Primary Therapist to join our team and support individuals with substance use disorders through individual, group, and family therapy.

You will help develop the Master Treatment Plan, coordinate discharge planning, and participate in crisis intervention and psychoeducation presentations, working closely with our treatment team to promote lasting recovery.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology or related field.
• Current LPC or LSW license in Ohio.
• Minimum of one year of addiction counseling experience.
• Knowledge of ethics, privacy, and professional standards.
• Understanding of substance use and co-occurring disorders.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, confidentiality, and privacy practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain open communication with facility staff, attending clinicians, physicians, clients, and families.
• Liaison with community agencies, vendors, and payers of health services.
• Review assessments from referring facilities and note problems/issues that require further attention.
• Gather comprehensive diagnostic information through psychosocial assessment interview.
• Develop an Integrated Summary, bringing together information from all assessments to identify problem areas that may affect treatment and/or need to be addressed in treatment planning.
• Develop a comprehensive problem list that reflects client’s individual issues as described in the assessments and Integrated Summary.
• Present psychosocial and diagnostic information to treatment team in a clear, concise manner.
