Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Design & Lesson Delivery

• Plan and deliver math lessons based on the US Common Core curriculum for primary grades (K-5).
• Teach fundamental concepts such as numbers, operations, geometry, measurement, data analysis, and problem-solving.
• Use age-appropriate and interactive teaching methods to create an engaging virtual learning experience.
• Incorporate games, visual aids, and digital tools to make math fun and relatable for young learners.

Student Engagement & Support

• Create a positive and encouraging online classroom environment that fosters active participation.
• Provide individualized attention to support diverse learning styles and pace.
• Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and confidence in solving mathematical problems.

Assessment & Feedback

• Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents to help track and enhance performance.
• Tailor learning strategies to meet individual student needs and ensure inclusivity.

Classroom Management & Technical Skills

• Manage virtual classrooms effectively using platforms like Zoom, Google Classroom, or other LMS tools.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and progress records.
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues and guide students in accessing online materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field; a teaching certification is preferred.

Experience
