Mercy Clinic Primary Care - Mercy Clinic Sunset, FLOAT in Sunset Hills, MO, seeks a Primary Care Nurse to support triage calls and patient care. You will work with Providers and the clinical team to drive quality outcomes for an attributed panel. Schedule is Mon–Fri 0800–1630 with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

Initially on-site with three months of training, then a 50/50 hybrid model. Full-time (1.0 FTE) co-workers on-site five days per pay period and monthly on-site meetings are required.

Qualifications

• LPN or RN qualifications as stated above.
• Active LPN or RN license.
• 2–3 years of experience preferred.
• Education: Nursing degree/licensure as applicable.

Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Nurse works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Nurse will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for an attributed panel. Duties and responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Position Details:

Mercy Clinic Primary Care - Mercy Clinic Sunset, FLOAT

Location: 3637 S Geyer Rd., Sunset Hills, MO 63127

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 0800-1630

No nights, weekends, or holidays!

**Must complete a minimum of three months of on-site training prior to transitioning to a hybrid work-from-home schedule. After training, this role follows a 50/50 hybrid model, with full-time (1.0 FTE) co-workers expected to work on-site five days per pay period. Must also be available to attend monthly on-site clinic meetings.**

Our Primary Care Nurse is a newly created role for the clinics. In this position the nurse will work closely with the Providers and manage triage calls/messages for the clinic. They will have the option to move hybrid after training is complete.

LPN Qualifications:

Education: Diploma in Practical Nursing.

Licensure: Active LPN license.

Experience: 2-3 years of experience preferred.

RN Qualifications:

Education: Associate of Applied Science in Registered Nursing, Graduation from registered nursing program, bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN), OR 4 years of commensurate experience in lieu of the bachelor’s degree.

Licensure: Active RN license.

Experience: 2-3 years of experience preferred.

Highly Preferred Skills:

Proficiency with Epic EMR system

Timely and thorough patient triage skills

Computer competency (most of this position will be computer work)

Excellent time management and prioritization

Adaptability in a new and changing environment
