Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational and developmental needs.
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient record.
• Provide care based on physician orders and nursing plan of care.
• Delegate appropriately and supervise care by other team members as needed.
• Ensure safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Calculate dosages and administer medications per policy.
