Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in New York is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their team. The candidate will perform history and physical examinations, document patient visits, and educate patients on their health conditions. A minimum of 3 years’ experience, completion of an accredited NP/PA program, and bilingual Spanish are required. Competitive salary of $150k-$180k per year plus performance-based bonuses, along with comprehensive health benefits are offered. A supportive team environment is emphasized.

What you will accomplish in this role:

• Performing history and physical examinations
• Documenting visits in electronic medical record in a timely manner
• Educating patients on their health conditions in a way they can understand.
• Following up with patients more frequently for effective condition management.
• Utilizing your support team to complete standing orders
• Ordering diagnostic tests based on assessments, developing treatment plans, prescribing drugs and other therapies as needed
• Making referrals as necessary, consulting with supervising medical provider when appropriate.
• Maintaining patient confidentiality
• Participating in meetings
• Working collaboratively with other members of the medical team
• Collaborating with the management team on quality improvement initiatives
• Having an open mind to feedback, different perspectives, reflection, and growth.

Who you are and your experience:

• Must have completed an accredited NP/PA program and be registered by the NYS Department of Education.

• Proven ability to work in a team environment
• eClinicalWorks experience is a plus
