Job summary

Veterans Health Administration (OKC VA Health Care System) seeks a physician to manage primary care for a panel of Veterans. You will lead the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT), ensure timely EMR documentation, and coordinate care across clinics in the health care system.

Applicants must hold an MD or DO, be licensed in the US, and obtain VA credentials. Board certification in Family or Internal Medicine is preferred; English proficiency is essential. Residency training must meet VA standards.

Qualifications

Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Current full and unrestricted medical license in the United States.
MD/DO degree from a school approved by VA.
Board eligibility/Certification requirements as part of residency training.
Preferred board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
Residency training approved by VA or equivalent pathways.

Responsibilities

Manage medical care for a panel of Veterans enrolled in Primary Care.
Lead the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) and ensure safe, high-quality care.
Collaborate with PACT members to maintain patient safety and care quality.
Responsible for performance metrics related to patient care quality and customer service.
Maintain licensure and credentials for privileges; adhere to Medical Staff bylaws.
