Inova Health System is seeking Physicians to join the Inova Primary Care team across Northern Virginia. With over 40 primary care locations, we offer flexible Part-Time and Full-Time opportunities, serving diverse communities including Loudoun County.

The role emphasizes high-quality ambulatory care, integrated care models, and opportunities to work within Epic/MyChart environments, while supporting a strong focus on patient access and safety.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted VA Medical License or ability to obtain.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon start.
• Ability to credential with CMS Medicare/Medicaid payors.
• Successful completion of Medical Staff credentialing.

Primary Care Physician Job Responsibilities:

• Provides safe and effective care to ambulatory patients.
• Teamwork/Coordination of Care: Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others. Exhibits respect for and understanding of other clinical disciplines and uses an integrated approach to achieve desired patient outcomes. Evidence-Based
• Practice/Learning: Uses evidence-based standards, guidelines, and protocols to the delivery of patient care. Incorporates new information and approaches, when appropriate, to continuously improve patient care and practice.
• Professionalism / Professional Development: Ensures ongoing growth and development of clinical skills and knowledge by assuming responsibility for lifelong learning. Provides direction and guidance to others regarding practice, also serves as a resource and mentor. Demonstrates leadership skills through participation in program development.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Prior experience required.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start
• Licensure: Unrestricted VA Medical License or ability to obtain
• Payor Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
• Medical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in Primary Care

Positions available for Full Time/Part Time/PRN and various facilities. You can be considered for any position in the following counties/service areas in Northern Virginia:
