Job summary

Premise Health Inc. in Berea, KY is seeking a Full-Time Physician to deliver episodic, preventive, and acute care to client employees at our on-site Health Center.

The schedule is Monday 9:00am-6:30pm, Tuesday 9:00am-3:00pm, Wednesday 9:00am-5:30pm, Thursday 9:00am-5:30pm, with no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call. Applicants must hold all state licenses, a current medical degree, a DEA license, board certification, CPR, and at least three years of post-residency clinical experience;

Qualifications

• All state licenses to practice.
• Federal DEA license.
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state.
• Current board certificate (ABMS, AMA or AOA).
• Medical Degree.
• CPR (BLS/ACLS) with hands-on evaluation per AHA standards.
• At least three years of post-residency clinical experience.
• Experience in a primary care, urgent care or emergency room setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides episodic, preventive, and acute health care to patients.
• May provide occupational health services in some health centers.
• Conducts histories and physical examinations and prescribes medications and/or treatments.
• Develops treatment plans and educates patients.
• Provides referrals to appropriate medical resources.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of medical care and monitors progress.
• Identifies emergencies and provides care within scope and Premise privileging.
• Participates in annual health center goals and objectives.
• Maintains medical records using EMR or similar software.
• May formulate and administer health programs as needed.
• Provides overall responsibility for patient care in the health center in the absence of Medical Leader.
