Job summary

One Medical is seeking a full-time in Berkeley, CA-based physician to provide comprehensive primary care. You will manage a diverse patient panel, deliver in-person, testing center, and telehealth visits, and participate in ongoing clinical rounds with a focus on human-centered care.

The ideal candidate has completed an Internal or Family Medicine residency, is board-eligible or certified, and holds a CA medical license prior to start.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or completed an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program.
• Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting.
• Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, or Board Eligible with next exam scheduled.
• State licensed in CA before start date.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient panel with acute, chronic, and well visits.
• Treat patients in-office, in testing centers, and via telehealth.
• Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and ongoing learning.
• Collaborate with in-office and virtual clinical teams.
• Supervise NP/PA colleagues and pursue additional state licensure as needed.
• Utilize clinical training to perform in-office procedures.

What You’ll Be Working On:

• Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
• Treating patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
• Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
• Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
• Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
• Supervising one or more NP or PA colleagues
• Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states

Education, Licenses, And Experiences Required For This Role:

• Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
• Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting
• Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. If not yet Board Certified, must presently be a Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Resident, or have completed a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Residency Program within the last calendar year and scheduled to take the next available Board Exam
• State licensed in CA, obtained before your One Medical start date

This is a full-time role based in Berkeley, CA at our Shattuck Avenue location.

This is a full-time role based in Oakland, CA at our Berkeley Shattuck office.

One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The base salary range for this role is $308,700 to $369,000 based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule.
