Qualifications

• Completion of medical degree and residency training in a primary care specialty from an AMA-approved program.
• MD/DO with certification by an American Board of Medical Specialists (ABMS) board in physician's primary specialty.

Responsibilities

• Examines patient to obtain information on medical condition and risk.
• Prescribes or administers treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
• Orders, performs, and interprets tests and analyzes records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' condition.
• Designs individualized care plans, using a variety of treatments.
• Meets or exceeds CMS requirements and all other applicable regulatory requirements and standards.
• Dictates and completes charting in electronic medical reports per Centra policy.
