In cooperation with other members of the department clinical staff, an Ochsner Staff Physician will provide and coordinate patient care by abiding by Ochsner’s core values of Patients First, Integrity, Compassion, Inclusivity, Teamwork and Excellence.
Light Work: up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, or a negligible amount of force constantly (2/3 or more of the time). Physical demands exceed those for sedentary work. The job may require walking or standing to a significant degree, pushing or pulling arm or leg controls, or maintaining a production rate pace with constant pushing and pulling of materials even if the weight is negligible.
Must be able to travel throughout and between facilities. The position involves handling hazardous drugs and/or hazardous drug contaminated products through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning, and disposal of contaminated waste, including contact with patients who may receive hazardous drugs.
