Job summary

The Staff Physician at Mainline Health Systems, Inc. serves as a licensed independent practitioner delivering primary medical care within a patient-centered medical home model. You will manage patient health, coordinate care, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

The role requires MD/DO, residency, state license, and ACLS/BLS; schedule is 8:00–5:30 with some Friday half-days, and involvement in community health activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical school with MD/DO degree.
• Completion of a residency program.
• License to practice medicine in the State specified by employer.
• Board eligibility/certification in specialty.
• Ability to utilize electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary medical care to patients in accordance with specialty.
• Develop care plans including history, exam, treatment, and referrals.
• Emphasize preventive health care and patient education.
• Coordinate with care team and other providers for continuity.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in quality improvement.
• Prescribe medications per policy and supervise treatment.
• Maintain patient records and ensure timely charting.
