Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of medicine.
  • Current Medical Doctor (MD) or Osteopathic Doctor (DO) licensure.
  • Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar position is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary medical care within standard of care for patients.
  • Order laboratory and radiology tests and refer to specialists as needed.
  • Analyze medical records and tests to diagnose and propose treatment options.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments for identified conditions.
  • Discuss side effects and update allergy information before prescribing.
  • Advise patients on lifestyle and diet changes to improve health.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with health privacy laws.
  • Record complete, timely medical records and assist with training.
