Job summary

Astrana Care of Nevada in Las Vegas is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our Providers team. The physician will diagnose and manage common acute and chronic illnesses, coordinating care with patients and families to improve overall wellbeing.

The role requires residency in family medicine, board certification or eligibility, and Nevada license. We offer a full-time schedule, with benefits and potential bonuses as part of the compensation structure.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of family/internal medicine residency program.
• Board eligible/Board certified.
• Unrestricted and active Nevada Physician License.
• Current BLS, ACLS, CSR, and NV DEA certification prior to start date.
• Experience in Womens Health is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic illnesses, interpreting test results as necessary.
• Collaborate with the patient and the patients family to create and execute treatment plans and ensure proper coordination of care.
• Refer to specialists when appropriate.
• Perform routine health screenings, health maintenance care, annual exams, and work with the quality and coding department for templates and processes.
• Provide education, feedback and assessment of care to ensure patient safety.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

Job Benefits

• This is a full-time position, M-F 8 A - 5P. The clinic is located on Rainbow Blvd in Vegas.
• The target pay range for this role is $220,000-250,000 base salary with additional annual bonus structure. This salary range represents our national target range for this role.
• Astrana employees who refer additional physicians to our practices will be eligible to receive a $3000 bonus per physician hired OR $3500 bonus per bilingual physician hired!
