Job summary

Capital Health Medical Center is seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician to provide comprehensive medical care to patients while working independently and with the care team. Candidates must hold MD/DO with NJ and PA licenses and be board-certified or board-eligible in Family or Internal Medicine.

Examinations, diagnostics, treatments, patient education, and care coordination are core duties. Competitive compensation, CME, and full benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• MD/DO Degree required with NJ & PA licenses.
• Board certification from ABMS in Family or Internal Medicine or board-eligible in Family/Internal Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose patients, order diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications.
• Develop and manage treatment plans including preventive care.
• Educate patients and families about health issues and treatments.
• Refer patients to specialists as needed.
• Coordinate with other providers for quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records for billing and submittal.
• Participate in on-call schedule as required.
