Baltimore Washington Medical Center (BWMC), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System, seeks a BE/BC Internal Medicine/Family Medicine physician for its outpatient Primary Care group in Anne Arundel County, MD. This full-time role offers a collaborative environment, five practice locations, and an 18+ patient daily volume in adult outpatient care.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required in medicine.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active Maryland medical license.
• DEA certification or equivalent for controlled substances.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care to adults.
• Manage an 18+ patient daily caseload in a collaborative group.
• Participate in a multi-location outpatient practice across Anne Arundel County.
• Maintain licensure, CME compliance, and professional privileges as required.

Work Experience Qualifications

• Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required.
• Possesses and maintains current Board Certification within practicing specialty required of Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.
• Possesses and maintains, if applicable, appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility.
• Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
• Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.
