UPMC Middletown Family Care in Middletown, PA seeks a Family Medicine Physician to join our outpatient practice. The role emphasizes patient-centered care with a focus on comprehensive primary care for adults and families.

Clinically, you'll have 36 hours of patient-facing time per week, 4 hours of admin time, light on-call from home, and strong support from a multi-disciplinary team. The position offers PSLF eligibility, a sign-on bonus, and a competitive incentive-based compensation package.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completed Family Medicine residency.
• Board certification in Family Medicine or eligible for board certification for new graduates.
• Active Pennsylvania medical license or ability to obtain.
• DEA certification and commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient Family Medicine care at Middletown Family Care.
• 36 hours of patient-facing time per week with 4 hours of administrative time.
• Collaborate with social work, behavioral health, nutritionists, and specialists within UPMC network.
• Participate in light call from home with shared coverage among providers.

• About the practice: A single-site outpatient only practice located in Central Pennsylvania, near Harrisburg.
• Clinical time: 36 hours of patient facing time Mon-Fri with 4 hours of administrative time per week. Light call schedule taken from home and shared equally with the providers in the practice. No inpatient call.
• Resources: Easy referrals to social work, behavioral health, nutritionists and UPMC’s network of specialists.
