Job summary

American Health Network, part of the Optum family of businesses, seeks a Primary Care Physician to join our team in Gahanna, OH. You will provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient panel with the support of a multidisciplinary team and participate in quality initiatives.

The role offers a physician-led culture, a clear path to leadership and partnership opportunities, and flexible scheduling with 4 or 4.5-day weeks within a value-based care framework.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted medical licensure in the state or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Med-Peds.
• Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient panel with the support and resources needed to practice at the peak of your license.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including care coordinators, behavioral health, pharmacy, and other care providers at the practice.
• Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives.
• Educate and empower your patients to take ownership of their health.
