Job summary

Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, PA is seeking a PRN Hospitalist to join our 212-bed campus. Candidates should have at least two years of post-training experience and be eligible for state licensure.

The position offers a collaborative team environment, a focus on patient safety, and a compensation plan with quality and productivity bonuses, in a community serving about 400,000 people in Berks County.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalent.
• Completion of accredited training program.
• Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania.
• BC/BE in Family Medicine or General Internal Medicine.
• Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates.
• Two years' experience following completion of accredited training program.
