Job summary

Greater Family Health in Elgin, IL seeks a Primary Care Physician - Family Medicine or Internal Medicine to deliver high-quality clinical care across our FQHC network. You will provide comprehensive medical services, participate in training and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

The role includes on-call coverage, adherence to federal/state regulations, and involvement in quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree or equivalent.
• Ability to successfully complete credentialing, and thereby receive complete and full privileges, with Greater Family Health.
• Current Illinois State Licensure.
• DEA Certificate.
• Board Certification or actively seeking of Board Certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality medical care to the patients of Greater Family Health Center in accordance with Specialty Certification and Greater Family Health Policies and Procedures.
• Be fully supportive of all quality initiatives.
• Provide leadership, supervision, direction, training and role modeling to staff (NA, MA, LPN, RN, PA, NP).
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state rules, regulations, and laws and Greater Family Health objectives, policies, procedures, directives and contractual agreements.
• Provide on-call coverage and rounding on inpatients as appropriate.

Education
