Marquis MD is redefining concierge medicine with time-for-p patients, continuity of care, and a highly personalized longitudinal approach. We seek a Board Certified Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) to join our clinical culture, referral network, and evolving care delivery model.

The ideal candidate values depth over volume, emphasizes relationships, and will help deliver care that is anticipatory, human, and deeply patient-centered across the lifespan.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Internal or Family Medicine required.
• Active Florida medical license or eligible with commitment to obtain.
• DEA registration is required to prescribe controlled substances.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years post-residency primary care experience.

Responsabilités

• Deliver comprehensive primary care across the lifespan for a curated membership.
• Provide preventive care, annual physicals, chronic disease management, and acute care.
• Foster long-term physician–patient relationships built on trust and continuity.
• Offer direct physician access via secure messaging with same/next-day appointments.
• Oversee in-office testing and in-house diagnostics to reduce external lab reliance.
• Coordinate referrals and maintain strong relationships with specialists and hospitals.
• Contribute to clinical protocols and care delivery framework of Marquis MD.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and participate in workflow improvements.

About the Role

We are seeking a Board Certified Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) to join Marquis MD and help shape the clinical culture, referral ecosystem, and patient-centered care model of the practice.

The ideal candidate is clinically excellent, deeply relationship-oriented, and motivated by the opportunity to practice medicine in its intended form: with time for patients, continuity of care, and a thoughtfully curated panel that allows for truly personalized, longitudinal relationships.

This role is designed for a physician who values depth over volume and seeks to redefine primary care through access, trust, and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive primary care across the lifespan (adolescents through adults, depending on scope and licensure) for a limited, curated membership panel
• Conduct preventive care visits, annual physicals, chronic disease management, acute care evaluations, and complex care coordination with appropriate time allocated per visit complexity
• Build and maintain authentic, longitudinal physician-patient relationships grounded in trust, accessibility, and continuity — knowing patients beyond their medical record
• Provide direct physician access via secure messaging and ensure same-day or next-day appointment availability as the standard of care
• Perform in-office point-of-care testing and oversee in-house diagnostics (e.g., strep, flu, COVID, RSV, glucose, urinalysis, and other rapid testing as applicable), reducing external lab dependency
• Coordinate referrals with specialists and ensure close-loop communication throughout the care continuum
• Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with specialists, hospitals, imaging centers, and community partners as part of ongoing clinical practice
• Collaborate in shaping clinical protocols, membership model standards, and the evolving care delivery framework of Marquis MD
• Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality documentation within the practice EMR
• Participate in continuous improvement of clinical workflows, patient experience, and care accessibility standards

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical institution
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine and/or Family Medicine (ABIM or AAFP/AOBFM, as applicable)
• Active and unrestricted Florida medical license, or eligibility with commitment to obtain prior to start date
• DEA registration
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post-residency in primary care or related setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
