Carbon Health in Sacramento is seeking a Board-certified Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) for a 4-day work week with no on-call shifts. You’ll deliver high-quality, patient-centered care as part of a national network and collaborate with a vibrant team using the CarbyOS EHR.

Qualifications

  • Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with unrestricted DEA license.
  • Licensed (or eligible) to practice in your state (California).
  • BLS certification required before first day.
  • Experience with patient-centered, relationship-driven care.
  • Comfort with basic women’s health services and Pap smears.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient-focused history and physical exams.
  • Provide basic women’s health services, including Pap smears.
  • Develop evidence-based workups and treatment plans.
  • Care for adult patients (no pediatrics).
  • Interpret x-rays, labs, and EKGs.
  • Manage patient flow with Central Support assistance.
  • Lead MA and support staff; supervise PAs/NPs.
