Job summary

Carbon Health is seeking a Board-certified Primary Care Physician in Pasadena to join a national network. The role offers a four-day work week, no call or weekend shifts, and holidays off, enabling a balance between professional and personal life.

You will triage adult patients, lead a team of MAs and support staff, and participate in innovative, technology-driven care. The position emphasizes patient-centered, relationship-driven care, with opportunities for clinical research and growth within

Qualifications

• MD/DO board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active/unrestricted medical license in the practicing state.
• BLS certification required before first day.

Responsibilities

• Develop evidence-based workups and treatment plans.
• Care for adult patients (no pediatrics).
• Interpret x-rays, labs, and EKGs.

Your Role

As a Carbon Health Primary Care Physician, you’ll provide compassionate, patient-centered care while being part of a high-performing, collaborative team.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct patient-focused history and physical exams
• Provide basic women’s health services, including Pap smears
• Develop evidence-based workups and treatment plans
• Care for adult patients (no pediatrics)
• Interpret x-rays, labs, and EKGs
• Manage patient flow efficiently with Central Support assistance
• Provide leadership for your team of MAs and support staff
• Supervise assigned PAs/NPs
• Manage a patient panel with an emphasis on quality outcomes

About You

• Board-certified (MD/DO) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and unrestricted DEA license
• Licensed (or eligible) to practice in your state
• Committed to patient-centered, relationship-driven care
• Comfortable providing basic women’s health services
• Passionate about innovation, continuous learning, and technology-driven care
• Skilled at fostering a positive, respectful team environment
• BLS certification is required and must be obtained before your first day with Carbon Health

Full Time Salary (40 hours per week):

$270,000 - $370,200

Carbon Health offers a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary and eligibility for additional incentive bonuses tied to wRVUs and quality performance metrics. Final offer amounts are determined based on a variety of factors, including education, experience, work history, and geographic location.
