Job summary

Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri seeks a Primary Care Physician to join a well‑established clinic at Nifong Medical Plaza. The role offers a 4‑day work week with 16‑20 patient visits per day and protected administrative time, supported by a capable staff and on‑site lab, imaging, and therapy services.

The selected physician will diagnose, treat, and manage care for a broad patient population, collaborating with families and the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (or board-eligible).
• Active Missouri medical license and DEA registration required; ability to obtain license in Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in primary care.
• Provide compassionate, evidence-based medical care to assigned patients.
• Collaborate with families and healthcare team to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical records (Meditech Expanse now EPIC anticipated).
• Uphold hospital policies and patient safety standards.
