Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine physician to join an established primary care team in the rural mountains of western Virginia. The role offers a $280,000 base salary, a flexible 4x10 schedule, and 32 patient-facing hours per week with no after-hours call.

Highlights include approximately 16 patients per day, six weeks of PTO, and 40 hours CME plus a $5,000 allowance. Licensure in Virginia is supported in a strong community-focused rural setting.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
• Eligible for Virginia medical licensure.
• Rural healthcare experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Join an established primary care team in the mountains of western Virginia and provide comprehensive care to a rural population.
• Deliver approximately 16 patients per day across 32 patient-facing hours per week.
• Coordinate with hospital and other providers to ensure continuity of care.
