Qualifications

• MD or DO trained and board eligible/certified in family or internal medicine.
• Board certification in family or internal medicine required.
• Active DEA registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care by examining, diagnosing, treating, and monitoring acute and chronic conditions.
• Manage a daily patient panel of approximately 18 patients per day (up to 20–24 during busier sessions).
• Complete and close EHR documentation within 72 hours.
• Review and interpret labs, imaging, EKGs, and reports; adjust care as needed.
• Order diagnostic tests and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform routine preventive services including well-woman exams.
• Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments.
• Coordinate specialty referrals and integrate consultant recommendations.
• Educate patients on prevention, chronic disease management, and healthy lifestyles.
• Supervise up to four NPs, PAs, or Medical Assistants as needed.
• Participate in provider meetings, peer review, and quality improvement activities.

San Fernando, CA | Full-Time (will consider reduced hours/part-time) | Direct Hire

We are seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to become part of a collaborative team committed to improving community health.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide outpatient primary care by examining, diagnosing, treating, and monitoring acute and chronic conditions.
• Manage a daily patient panel of approximately 18 patients per day (up to 20–24 during busier clinic sessions).
• Complete and close Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation within 72 hours.
• Review and interpret laboratory results, imaging, EKGs, specialist reports, and other diagnostic studies.
• Order appropriate diagnostic testing and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform routine preventive services, including well-woman exams (Pap smears, pelvic exams, and breast exams).
• Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments.
• Coordinate specialty referrals and incorporate consultant recommendations into ongoing care plans.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, chronic disease management, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Supervise up to four Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Physician Assistants (PAs), and/or Medical Assistants as needed.
• Participate in provider meetings, peer review activities, quality improvement initiatives, and the shared after-hours call rotation.

Qualifications

Required

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school with completion of an accredited residency program.
• Board Certification in Family Medicine (ABFM/AOBFP), orInternal Medicine (ABIM/AOBIM)
• Active DEA registration.

Preferred

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• New residency graduates are encouraged to apply; experienced physicians are also welcome.

Schedule

• Full-Time (40 hours/week)
• Monday–Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Will consider reduced hours/part-time
• Dedicated administrative time built into the workweek.

Compensation

• $275,000 – $320,000 annually
• Salary is negotiable based on experience.
• Potential consideration for a 1099 productivity/RVU-based compensation model.
