Physician Care Centers is seeking a Physician – Primary Care to deliver comprehensive, continuous medical care across the lifespan. You will diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, coordinate care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes preventive care, health promotion, and evidence-based practice within an outpatient setting, with a typical Monday–Friday schedule and dedicated EHR documentation.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with accredited residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• DEA registration is required or in process
• BLS; ACLS may be required depending on practice setting

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs, imaging, and EKGs.
• Prescribe medications and therapies per regulations.
• Provide preventive care services including screenings and immunizations.
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.
• Supervise and collaborate with NPs, PAs, nurses, and other clinicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and participate in quality improvement.

About the Role

We’re seeking a Physician – Primary Care to provide comprehensive, continuous, and patient-centered medical care to individuals across the lifespan. The physician diagnoses and treats acute and chronic conditions, promotes preventive health, coordinates care, and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory studies, imaging, and EKGs.
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide preventive care services, including health screenings, immunizations, and wellness exams.
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, asthma, and COPD.
• Perform minor office procedures such as suturing, skin biopsies, joint injections, and I&D.
• Provide health education and counseling to patients and families.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise and collaborate with NPs, PAs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and population health management.
• Comply with clinical guidelines, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Completion of accredited residency training in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related primary care specialty.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• DEA registration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required.
