Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active Pennsylvania medical license (or ability to obtain).
• Experience in a community health/outpatient setting preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and general computer applications.
• Bilingual Spanish and English required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care with evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
• Perform complete physical exams and preventive care services.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging (X-rays, CTs, MRIs as appropriate).
• Prescribe medications and coordinate referrals to specialists.
• Perform in-office procedures within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR.
• Provide follow-up care and patient education to individuals and families.
• Collaborate with behavioral health and other clinical teams for integrated care.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of clinical support staff.
• Participate in community health education initiatives.
• Respond to medical emergencies within the clinical setting.

Overview

A community health center in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Primary Care Physician to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across the lifespan. This is a Full Time, on-site role, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with one evening shift, focused on delivering high-quality, cost-effective medical services in collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams.

What you'll do

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
• Perform complete physical exams and preventative care services
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging (including X-rays, CTs, and MRIs as appropriate)
