Job summary

Physician Care Centers (PCC) in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician for a patient-centered outpatient practice.

You will provide comprehensive care with about 15 patients per day, focusing on prevention, chronic disease management, and collaboration with a supportive team in a value-based care model. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, opportunities for leadership, and competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with accredited residency in Family or Internal Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Current, unrestricted Florida medical license and DEA registration.
• BLS certification; ACLS may be required.
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care and improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, including preventive services and chronic disease management.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate specialist referrals.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe appropriate treatments.
• Perform minor office-based procedures as clinically appropriate.
• Collaborate with and provide appropriate clinical supervision to healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.


• Completion of accredited residency training in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related primary care specialty.


• Current unrestricted state medical license.


• Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.


• DEA registration.


• Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required.


• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.


• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
