CommonSpirit Health’s James Way Clinic in Pismo Beach, California is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine or Med-Peds physician to join our established clinical team, delivering primary care to patients of all ages.

You will coordinate care across the Pacific Central Coast Health Centers network, use patient portals and virtual care tools, and enjoy a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, CME allowance, malpractice coverage, and PTO.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Primary Care Physician, you will join an established clinical team at Dignity Health’s Pacific Central Coast Health Centers (PHC), playing a pivotal role in the continued success and community health impact of our James Way Clinic in Pismo Beach, California.

Every day you will provide comprehensive family medicine and pediatric services to patients of all ages, managing routine checkups, wellness care, and chronic medical conditions. You will also coordinate care seamlessly across our integrated health network, utilizing advanced patient portals and virtual care tools to support your patients through every stage of life.

To be successful in this role, you will be a BC/BE Family Medicine or Med-Peds physician with a strong passion for community-based outpatient medicine, excellent clinical instincts, and a deep commitment to delivering care centered around humankindness.

This site is integrated with Pacific Central Coast Health Centers, a robust network of 58 regional clinics and over 290 multi-disciplinary primary and specialty care providers.

Job Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine
• Active or eligible license in the state of California
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
