Job summary

Humana's CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a physician to deliver outpatient care focused on continuity, health maintenance and prevention for seniors. You will maintain medical histories, coordinate with specialists, and contribute to care strategies in a value-based model.

Qualified MD/DO, state license, and board certification in Family/Internal/Geriatric Medicine are preferred, with 5+ years of experience. TB screening participation and limited on-call coverage are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and medical degree (MD/DO) from an accredited program.
• Licensure in the state of jurisdiction.
• Board certification in Family/Internal/Geriatric Medicine.
• 5+ years of clinical experience in outpatient settings.
• Preference for Internal Medicine specialty and geriatric focus.
• Participant in Humana/Senior Bridge TB screening program.
• Willingness to participate in limited on-call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient medicine with emphasis on continuity of care.
• Maintain medical history and medical records.
• Focus on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree


• 5 or more years of technical experience


• Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction


• Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university


• Prefer Internal Medicine specialty


• Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine


• This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.


• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences


• Must be willing to participate in limited on‑call coverage by phone

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full‑time (40 helpers per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$255,000 - $298,500 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
