Position Summary

Windber Medical Center is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals across all age groups, emphasizing preventative care, chronic disease management, and continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality primary care services including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Conduct routine physical exams, screenings, and preventive care interventions.
• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary teams.
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with best practice guidelines.
• Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and ancillary services to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record system.
• Serve as a trusted healthcare resource for patients and their families.
