Job summary

Vesa Health & Technology is seeking a Family Practice Physician to provide care at the US Coast Guard Medical Clinic in Honolulu, HI. This role supports active duty members and their families with comprehensive outpatient primary care.

The position is full-time, typically Monday through Friday with no on-call requirements. The clinic emphasizes patient access, prevention, and high-quality, military-focused care in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active state medical license accepted (no licensure restrictions noted).
• Malpractice is covered under the assignment.
• Full-time schedule with standard workdays (Monday–Friday); no on-call requirement.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of outpatient primary care services on site using government facilities and supplies.
• Case consultation with referring Medical Department Representative.
• Provide expert opinion in related medical board action.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care.
• Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergent conditions in addition to regularly scheduled appointments.
• Prepare and submit documentation such as fitness-for-duty reports and health assessments.

Summary of Duties:

• Perform a full range of Outpatient Primary Care Physician's services on site, using government furnished facilities, equipment and supplies, to a variety of patients.
• All aspects of Outpatient Primary Care services shall be commensurate with the capabilities of the provider and the Medical Department including but not limited to the items listed below:
• Case consultation with referring Medical Department Representative;
• Expert opinion in related medical board action;
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care;
• Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergent conditions as they occur in addition to regularly scheduled appointments;
• Prepare and submit appropriate documentation as specified in applicable regulations (to include fitness for duty reports, progress notes, Periodic Health Assessments, etc.);
