Overview

Immediate opportunity to join an established and growing Family Practice in the DeLand, Florida area. We are seeking a talented and ambitious physician to join our well-established practice. This physician will be licensed and board-certified or board-eligible in Florida, possess a great work ethic, and be a team player.

DeLand, Florida is located in Volusia County, about 25 miles southwest of Daytona Beach. The city sits approximately 34 miles north of Orlando's central business district and about 23 miles west of Daytona Beach. Volusia County lies in east-central Florida between the St. Johns River and the Atlantic Ocean. DeLand is home to Stetson University and the Museum of Art - DeLand and is known for education, culture, and a thriving downtown.

Additional Eligibility & Qualifications

• Knowledgeable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to document patient encounters.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 Coding and STAR measure attainments.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve complex and multifaceted situations.
• Strong organizational and task prioritization skills.

Required Education/Experience

• Medical Doctorate (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.); Family Medicine or General Practice preferred.
• Medical License in the state of Florida.
• DEA License
• Up-to-date CPR Certification (BLS, ACLS, and PALS)
• ACN Licensure Acceptable
