Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a physician to provide outpatient medical care with emphasis on health maintenance and disease prevention. You will maintain medical histories and records, refer patients to specialists, and influence departmental strategy.

Licensure in the state and board certification in Family or Internal Medicine or Geriatrics are expected. Expect 5+ years of clinical experience and capacity for limited on-call coverage by phone, working within a patient-centered team to improve consumer

  • Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
  • Minimum 5 years of technical experience and state licensure.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • The Physician serves as a health-care clinician and can handle a variety of health-related problems.
  • The Physician work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • The Physician focuses on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention.
  • Keep a medical history and medical records.
  • Refer the patient to specialists.
  • Begin to influence department's strategy.
  • Decide moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components and perform work without direction.
  • Exercise considerable latitude in determining goals and approaches to assignments.
Requirements
  • 5 or more years of technical experience
  • Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
  • Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
  • Prefer Internal Medicine specialty
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences
  • Must be willing to participate in limited on-call coverage by phone
