Job summary

CommonSpirit-Health's Primary Care team in Colorado Springs is seeking a Physician to deliver high-value, patient-centered care to diverse populations. You will diagnose acute conditions, manage chronic diseases, perform wellness exams, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Current and unrestricted physician license to practice in applicable state.
• Must have successfully completed a residency and/or fellowship in a relevant specialty.
• Obtain and maintain an unrestricted DEA registration.
• Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to hospital.
• Obtain medical staff privileges within the health system.
• Medium Work exert/lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 20 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly.

• Perform annual physicals, wellness exams, and preventive health screenings.
• Administer immunizations and promote preventive care strategies.
• Manage and treat chronic conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, and cardiovascular disease.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.

Job Requirements

Required

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine (MD or DO)
• Current and unrestricted Physician License to practice in applicable state
• Must have successfully completed a residency and / or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty
• Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency ('DEA') registration
• Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to hospital
• Obtain medical staff privileges within the health system, at sponsoring institution
• Medium Work exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
