CEC Healthcare, doing business as Charles Evans Center, Inc., seeks a compassionate Family Medicine Physician for a part-time position in Bethpage and Glen Cove, NY. The physician will provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population within an FQHC setting.

Responsibilities include outpatient care across ages, coordination with behavioral health teams, and documentation in EMR. Prior outpatient and I/DD/SMI experience are welcomed; bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualificações

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program.
• Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
• Experience providing care in an outpatient setting.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Experience in FQHC/underserved settings preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals with I/DD, SMI, behavioral health conditions, and substance use disorders.
• Collaborate with behavioral health and care management teams to support patients with complex medical, psychological, and social needs.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate care across disciplines.
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests.
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Perform office-based procedures as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Participate in an integrated care model focused on improving health outcomes for vulnerable populations.
