Pediatrician Opportunity – Akron Children’s Locust Pediatric Care Group

Akron, Ohio

Whether you are a resident, an early‑career physician, or a seasoned pediatrician, Akron Children’s offers a unique hospital‑based outpatient practice. You’ll be part of a team that serves medically complex children, children in foster care, and underserved patients—including a large immigrant and refugee population.

The practice includes after‑hours call coverage and Saturday office hours shared between providers. Calls are screened by a nurse triage line that handles more than 90% of the incoming calls. The site is National Health Service Corps approved, providing loan repayment benefits.

Collaborative, physician‑led care occurs within a patient‑centered medical home with EPIC as the integrated electronic health record. The primary care offices are PCMH certified.
