Premise Health in New York, NY is seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant to provide high-quality primary and preventive care to employees at our health center near Central Park. This role offers a stable schedule and collaborative team environment.

You will perform exams, preventive care, and women’s health services with strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach. Competitive pay and a robust benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• Provides high-quality primary and preventive care as required by the contract.
• Strong clinical skills in women’s health, annual physicals and exams, acute/episodic care, and emergency response.
• Maintains state licenses/certifications to practice.
• Current NCCPA national certification required.
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice).
• New York ROPES registration where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines and agreements.
• Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refers patients to specialists as needed.
• Maintains patient health records and documentation.
