Job summary

Mercy Care Atlanta is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our Primary Care Clinics. The PA-C will assess, diagnose, treat, prescribe medications as approved, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred for the Chamblee Clinic. Responsibilities include providing primary care to adults and geriatrics, performing assessments, promoting wellness, and maintaining accurate EHR documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current PA-C certification through NCCPA.
• Minimum of three years of PA experience; post-graduate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to adults and geriatrics, with possible pediatric/adolescent care.
• Perform assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and follow-up.
• Prescribe medications and refer to specialists per protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, social services, and care teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Engage in continuing education and maintain licensure.
• Represent Mercy Care at community events 3–4 times a year.
• Participate in organizational committees.
