Job summary

Veteran Health Indiana in Indiana is seeking a full-time physician for outpatient care across Lafayette, Brownsburg and Indianapolis. You will work regular hours, without on-call duties, within an interdisciplinary team and contribute to teaching the next generation of clinicians.

  • BE/BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
  • Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States or DC.

Responsibilities

  • See approximately 12 patients per day in outpatient settings.
  • Maintain a typical M-F schedule from 8:00am to 4:30pm with no on-call duties.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Pharmacists, Mental Health clinicians, Nurses, and other professionals.
  • Engage in teaching to mentor emerging medical professionals.

Position highlights
Patient Centered Care

Approximately 12 patients per day in an outpatient setting, allowing for in-depth, personalized care.

Regular Hours

Typical shift M-F, 8:00am-4:30pm, no call, protected administrative time.

Interdisciplinary Team

Work alongside Clinical Pharmacists, Mental Health clinicians, Nurses and other healthcare professionals, leveraging a team-based approach to patient care.

Teaching Opportunities

Engage in teaching, helping to shape the future of medicine by mentoring young professionals.

Loan Repayment Program

Qualified candidates may be eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (up to $200K over a 5-year period).

Qualifications

Pay

Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases

Paid Time Off

50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME). Opportunity for paid parental leave.
