BJC HealthCare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for the Sullivan, Missouri primary care and weekend clinics. This full-time role involves weekday coverage (Tue-Fri, 8a-4p) in the Sullivan Clinic and alternating weekend shifts (Sat-Sun, 10a-4p) at the Sullivan Weekend Clinic.

The position is in a safety-sensitive environment and requires collaboration with a physician under established protocols.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• RN license required.
• Nurse Practitioner credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in professional development.
• Manages the health care of patient populations in a primary care setting under a physician collaboration.
• Coordinates care with physicians and referrals.
• Develops staff education programs to meet needs.
• Develops treatment plans and treats acute conditions per protocol.
• Safety-sensitive position per hospital policy.
